Poppy Seed / Orange Cake
Cake:

200 gram poppy (1 and 1/3 cup)

1 cup sugar

1 cup fine flour

200 ml milk (1 cup)

2 egg
-
1/2 cup oil
-
3 teaspoon vanilla sugar
-
3 teaspoon baking powder
Filling
-
250 gram Orange jam
Glaze
-
100 gram powdered sugar

4 tbsp orange juice

Beat the eggs with the sugar until frothy, then add the milk, oil, vanilla sugar, poppy seeds, finally the flour and baking powder and mix thoroughly.

The mass is poured into a baking tray lined with baking paper, baked for 30-35 minutes at 350f degrees.

Cut the cooled dough in half, spread it with the jam and stick it together.

Mix the powdered sugar with the orange juice well and spread it on top of the cake.
