Hungarian Pea Soup

1 lb. fresh or frozen peas

2 carrots, sliced

1/2 onion, chopped

2 tablespoons oil

1 tablespoon flour

parsley, chopped or some dry herb like oregano, thyme... 

1.5 teaspoons paprika

salt

pepper

Saute the onions till translucent. Add carrots and continue to saute for a few minutes.

Add all other ingredients, bring to boil, and simmer till carrots and peas are soft, about 30 minutes.

Note, may serve with nokerli or any other small dumplings
