Layered Beans Spread

31 oz. can refried beans, drained and rinsed

4 oz.  green chili peppers, drain and chopped

1 envelop taco seasoning mix

2 ripe avocado, peeled and pitted

16 oz. taco sauce

1½ cups sour cream

3 cups shredded lettuce

1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese

2 tablespoons lemon juice

 

In a medium bowl, mix together refried beans, chili pepper and taco seasoning.

Spread on a 12" serving plate.

Blend avocado, lemon juice, ½ cup taco sauce until smooth

Spread on top of beans mixture

Spread sour cream on top of avocado

Top with lettuce, cheese, taco sauce, olives.

Serve with tortilla chips
