Dates / Nuts Roll
For the Dough:
6 cups Flour
20 oz Butter
¾ cup Oil
2 teaspoon Baking Powder
¾ cup milk or Orange Juice
1 teaspoon Orange rind
2 teaspoons Vanilla Sugar
For the filling:
12 generous tablespoons of date spread
Combine all ing. in a food processor and Process till combine and smooth.
Shape to a ball, wrap in paper and Refrigerate for half an hour.
Divide to 4 equal parts and roll each to a rectangle.
Spreads each rectangle with the dates, top with walnut and cinnamon.
You may mark the roll where you want to cut to slices (only mark, do not cut all the way)
Place on an oiled cookie sheet and bake in 350F.
