Hungarian Chicken w/ Peas


BORSOFOZELEK

Chicken quarters

1 onion, minced

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

1 cup water

1 lb green peas (fresh or frozen)

2 tablespoons flour

1⁄2 cup water

salt and pepper

2 teaspoons Hungarian paprika

 

Heat oil in a saucepan on medium heat. Add onion, saute until transparent.

Add chicken, Saute on all sides, about 10 minutes

Add peas and water and seasoning.

Cook for till chicken and peas are soft. about 25 minutes on medium.

Note: I like to use boneless thigh
