Caramel Apple Cinnamon Roll
200mL milk
5 tbsp (70g) butter
30mL oil
1 egg
3 tbsp sugar
2 tsp dry yeast
500g unbleached flour

Filling:
4 medium apples
2-3 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
1 can cooked sweetened condensed milk
sliced almond
sugar powder
sift 400g of flour
add yeast and sugar
mix well
in a bowl mix egg, half of the milk, butter, oil
whisk for 1-2 min
add liquid mixture to dry ingredients
stir with a spoon
add rest of the milk and mix again
dust the dough with some flour on both sides
knead for 2-3 min
transfer to a dusted working surface and knead for 3-4 min
form a ball and transfer to an oil greased bowl
cover with a plastic wrap and let rise for ~1hour
peel apples
grate on a coarse grater
add lemon juice and sugar
leave for ~5 min
knead the dough for 1-2 min
divide into two pieces
cover and let rise for 15-20 min
drain juice from apples
squeeze well to remove as much liquid as you can
add cinnamon and mix well
grease baking pan with oil
form rectangle shape from one part of the dough
roll out the dough to ~5mm thickness
spread cooked condensed milk evenly
leave about 2cm on one side without filling
spread apples over caramel
tightly roll up the dough in a roll
cut into ~5cm length slices
place into greased baking pan
same steps for another piece of dough
sliced almond or chopped walnuts on top
let rise for ~15 min
bake at 360F for 30-35 min or until browned
sprinkle with sugar powder
