Layered w/ Ground Beef

  1. Saute the onions in a little oil.

  2. Add cabbage and continue to saute till cabbage wilts.

  3. In another pan, saute the minced meat, the smoked meat. Mix in a spoonful of red pepper.

  4. Cook the rice in saltwater.

  5. Mix together rice and ground meat.

  6. Add salt and pepper

  7. Spread half of the cabbage evenly in an oiled 9"x13" ovenproof pan.

  8. Top with a layer of meat/rice mixture.

  9. Top with another layer of cabbage.

  10. Bake in a preheated oven for golden brown.

May serve with sour cream or cheese
